The challenge
Scaling in the cooling circuits was forcing unplanned exchanger cleans, and the demineralisation plant had no redundancy.
Our approach
We added side-stream filtration, conductivity-controlled blowdown and a new duty/standby demin train, all integrated into site SCADA and our remote operations platform.
The outcome
Unplanned exchanger cleans stopped and chemical consumption fell by almost a third.
