The challenge
Twenty-three tenants were drawing on a stressed aquifer and discharging separately to an overloaded municipal works. Effluent quality varied by the hour, and each tenant needed a different water quality back.
Our approach
We built a shared collection network to a central plant: equalisation, MBBR, ultrafiltration and two-stage RO. Water returns in three quality grades through a ring main, and the plant is monitored from our Rotterdam hub.
The outcome
Groundwater abstraction fell by more than two-thirds in the first year, and the park's discharge consent was renegotiated downward.
